PRIMER REUNION DEL 2011 - FIRST MEETING OF 2011 - 16.01

Nuestra primera reunión del año se celebro el domingo 16 de Enero. Hemos cambiado el punto de encuentro, pasando del hasta finales del año pasado, Lanzarote a Caballo a Puerto Calero.
Los aparcamientos nos son mas favorable y la cafetería esta mas cerca de los coches. Estamos intentando organizar un parking reservado para las horas de la reunión, para tener todo los coches aparcados juntos... todo se andará.

La verdad es que no todos aparecieron, si bien es cierto que algún coche esta pendiente de piezas y otros de documentación, pero esperemos que en la próxima reunión estemos unos pocos mas.
La nota fue que el E Type de Roberto, casi llega, pero se reventó un tubo de refrigerante y quien lo disfruto el verlo fue el señor de la grúa, llevándolo para el taller.. de todas manera le hemos sacado unas fotos y al margen izquierdo podéis ver lo precioso que es.

Our first meeting of the year was held a on the 16th of January, having changed the venue that we had up until the end of the year from Lanzarote a Caballo to Puerto Calero.
The car park is much better to park and the coffee shop in nearer to our cars. We are in the process of organizing a car park area for all the cars during the hours of our meetings, so that all the cars can park next to each other... we are on the case.

The truth is that not every one turned up, but we are aware that some cars are waiting for spares and others to sort out document issues. Lets just hope more of us turn up next time.

The main delight of the day was that Roberto´s E type almost made it!! A burst coolant pipe was the reason why it did not arrive, as it got as far as Yaiza.
The only one that really got a good look of it was the driver of the recovery truck, when he pick her up.
Never the less, you can see a photo of how it looks on the right hand side.
